Monuments Archive

This fascinating section consists mainly of small, identical folders arranged by monument or group of monuments. It has been left as Georgios Lampakis arranged it himself. Each folder has a hand-written title and is numbered from 1 to 283. Not all the folders have survived, while some folder have survived with their numbers and titles intact but without any contents.
G.L. included a range of material in each folder spanning everything from simple notes to sketches of floor plans, copies of inscriptions etc.
We must assume that the majority of this archive can be found in published form in the Christian Archaeology Society Bulletin, but without this precluding the possibility of further research bringing to light unpublished material or evidence of revised opinions.
